From 1984 to 1989 I owned a Zündapp KS 80 SUPER. I drove with my reliable Zündapp in this 5 years over 30000 KM.

In year 2000 I travelled the first time to the home of my lovely wife Ting in Tianjin/China and to my big surprise I saw several Zündapp driving on the streets. This started my passion again and I started to investigate what happened to Zündapp after they went bankrupt in 1984:

China bought Zündapp and start to produce Zündapp in 1987 in Tianjin under the name XUNDA ("Schnell ans Ziel").

1992 Tianjin Xunda Motorcycle co. and Japan Honda technology research industrial co. sign a contract and start their business in 1993. Zundapp are still produced there, but no real motorcycles anymore.
